At Dublin Veterinary Hospital, we are dedicated and committed to your pet's ongoing wellness. By bringing your furry pal in for regular checkups, you'll protect them from many common ailments that can affect companion animals. We'll also have the opportunity to identify or address any potential health problems.
At each visit, our doctor will examine your pet from nose to tail, as well as developing and implementing a custom preventative care plan tailored to your pet's specific needs.
Wellness visits also lets us get a regular snapshot of your pet's health. These scheduled visits allow us to identify any signs of illness early and, if necessary, begin treatment as soon as possible.
Examining the pets twice a year also gives us the chance to get to know you and your pet, developing a relationship that will make going to the vet a more positive experience.
Our custom preventative care plan includes a routine physical exam, diagnostics, dental care, nutrition counseling, immunizations and parasite prevention based on age, breed, lifestyle, and gender. Lifestyle based vaccines like the Influenza bivalent booster, Rattlesnake vaccines, and Lyme disease vaccines are also available upon request.
We also offer puppy and kitten packages for newly adopted puppies and kittens. Other routinely recommended services like microchipping, heartworm, tick-borne disease testing and preventative medications etc.
Our experienced doctor is also accredited to write health certificates for your pets travelling by air. It is often required when you are flying with your pet within or outside of the United States. We offer domestic and international health certificates. Pets traveling to special destinations like Hawaii, Qatar, Japan and Australia needs a Rabies titer test and should start the process 6 months in advance.
An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of treatment. We have a strong belief that wellness care prolongs pet’s lives. Our preventative care exams are comprehensive and extremely thorough because we want to keep your loved one healthy and happy.
